A slightly peculiar compilation from Germany, which seems to have served little purpose other than to showcase some of the global acts licensed to Ariola at the time. It's a real mixed bag, with a few of our NWOBHM favourites (and DEDRINGER), some established Brits who were already major names on the rock scene (MOTORHEAD, UFO and GILLAN, as if you didn't know), plus a handful of heavy invaders from overseas (SCHENKER, KROKUS, the unremarkable POINT BLANK and the little-remembered TOKYO, few of whom were in dire need of this kind of exposure), none of which is particularly enthralling. Nothing exclusive or hard-toget, inevitably, and not really a sampler that you should be losing sleep over if it doesn't currently reside in your collection.
